My F-15X get blown off - BOV that is
With the intercooler connected directly to the tubo and throttle body, there is no place to add a Blow Off Valve (BOV). However, with Mac's new intercooler, there's a perfect place to install a BOV with 3" adaptor tube.
I really was not pleased with the whoosh sound of the TurboSX I had on the F-12X. I really like the whistle sound of the HKS on my Typhoon so for the F-15X, went with a HKS Super Sequential BOV.
Testing and sound clips to follow.

Re: My F-15X get blown off - BOV that is
And since the rear storage bucket is no longer used the Big intercooler and BOV, the sound will be able to easily escape past the incoming ram air from my newest product:
Ram Air Rear Seat
This is the prototype still in the works. The bottom of the seat is open to where the storage bucket was so incoming cool air gets packed into the hull.

Re: My F-15X get blown off - BOV that is
Jim that's a cool idea. Get it. Anyway, although I can't picture a serious ram effect, it has to help having some cooler air for the turbo to suck up. Even though it's a prototype, I like how it looks. It seems like you could use the same application on the 12.

Re: My F-15X get blown off - BOV that is
Guys dont forget that the f15x draws air from the front, remove the 2 side panels and you will see the scoops that is used. Remove the flat piece of plastic that partially blocks the scoop hole. Now you have 2 x 100mm direct air flow into the hull. Also remove the 2 100mm tubes that is cable tied to the bottom of the ski. We then placed 2 x outer wears over these inlets to prevent water from entering. We have also removed the original air filter and tube assy and have fitted a custom 3" hose with a pod filter on it, we made a bracket to hang the a/filter off the steering bolts. This allows the turbo to draw air from outside the hull in high volumes.
This Mod is the best mod we have done with our ecu, the cooler air makes a huge difference.
Also we do not run with any buckets in our ski, and we also leave the rear seat off to allow the heat soak air that is trapped in the hull to be removed through that area.
Anyone who has an ecu should do this mod....

redrider09, I got it on E-bay for $199. On a stock 12, you will need the weld-on adaptor and weld it on the aluminum tube from the turbo to the intercooler. With an aftermarket intercooler, you can use the adaptor tube and avoid the welding.
